ફ્રાંસના એવિયનમાં ગયા સપ્તાહે યોજાયેલી G-7 સમિટમાં વડાપ્રધાન મોદી અને પ્રેસિડેન્ટ ટ્રમ્પ જુસ્સાભેર મળ્યા હતા. બેઠક બાદ ભારત-અમેરિકા ડિફેન્સ ડીલને લઈ પૂછાયેલા સવાલ પર ટ્રમ્પે કહ્યું કે બંને દેશો વચ્ચે આ ડીલ વિશેષ છે. મોદીના રહેતા ક્યારેય પણ ભારત પર હુમલો થશે તો અમેરિકા મદદ માટે સાથે ઉભું રહેશે. ટ્રમ્પે કહ્યું હાલમાં મારી ચીનની યાત્રા ખૂબ સફળ રહી છે. ટ્રમ્પનું નિવેદન એટલા માટે મહત્વપૂર્ણ મનાય છે કે ગત વર્ષે ઓપરેશન સિંદૂર વેળા ચીને પાક.ને મદદ કરી હતી. ટ્રમ્પના આ વાયદાથી દુનિયાભરમાં નવું સૈન્ય સમીકરણ બનશે.
