વૃદ્ધો પ્રત્યે સન્માનનો અભાવ

લંડનઃ સામાન્યપણે વૃદ્ધ લોકો સ્મૃતિભ્રંશ  અથવા અલ્ઝાઈમરના રોગથી પીડાતા જોવા મળે છે. પશ્ચિમી વિશ્વસમાજમાં વડીલો તરફ સન્માનનો અભાવ અલ્ઝાઈમરના રોગચાળાને વધારતો હોઈ શકે તેમ ચેતવણી વિજ્ઞાનીઓએ આપી છે. તેઓ માને છે કે લોકોને સન્માનપૂર્વક વૃદ્ધત્વ તરફ પ્રયાણ કરવા દેવાય તેવી સ્થિતિમાં ડિમેન્શિયા અટકાવી શકાય છે. વૃદ્ધત્વ વિશેના નકારાત્મક વિચારોની અસર પણ તેમના પર થાય છે.

It has been alleged that a Syrian surgeon, Dr Ragheb Nouman (52), said that Indian doctors should “clean toilets, not practice medicine”, at the University Hospital of North Tees, Teesside. He allegedly called a colleague an “Indian b******”, and claimed that recruiting Indian doctors would be the “downfall of the NHS”. This has left him to be barred from all practice by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service.

Recently Prime Minster Modi signed several trade agreements with foreign countries costing crores of rupees for the development of India. Most of the agreements are based on highly technology such nuclear reactors which are of no use to 700 million people living in villages.

Anita Rani leaves Strictly Come Dancing...

The TV presenter of the show Countryfile, Anita Rani, had made it to the semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing, however failed to reach the finals as the Radio 3 presenter, Katie Derham, and her dance partner, Anton du Beke secured a place in the finals. Anita Rani, and her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko left Strictly come dancing.
