ગુજરાતનાં મુખ્ય પ્રધાન આનંદીબહેન પટેલે ૧૮મીમેએ સવારે ૯ વાગે પર્યટક ઘાટ (ગઉ ઘાટ) પર ક્ષિપ્રાસ્નાન કર્યું હતું અને તે બાદ મહાકાલ મંદિરમાં સામાન્ય શ્રદ્ધાળુઓની જેમ લાઈનમાં ઊભા રહીને દર્શન કર્યાં હતાં. મીડિયા સાથેની વાતચીતમાં તેમણે માત્ર આટલું જ કહ્યું હતું કે, ગુજરાતની ખુશાલી માટે સિંહસ્થ સ્નાન કર્યું અને મહાકાલને પ્રાર્થના કરવા આવી છું.
