મિની લોકસભા ચૂંટણીઓ તરીકે ઓળખાવાયેલી પાંચ રાજ્યોની વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણીના આજે જાહેર થયેલા પરિણામોમાં ભાજપનો કેસરિયો લહેરાયો છે. આજે જાહેર થઇ રહેલા પરિણામો દર્શાવે છે કે ભાજપ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશ અને ઉત્તરાખંડમાં બે-તૃતિયાંશ બહુમતી સાથે સરકાર રચશે. જ્યારે ગોવા અને મણિપુરમાં ભાજપ અને કોંગ્રેસ વચ્ચે ગળાકાપ સ્પર્ધા જોવા મળી રહી છે. બન્ને લગભગ સમાંતર ચાલે છે. પાંચ રાજ્યોમાંથી એક માત્ર પંજાબમાં કોંગ્રેસે સ્પષ્ટ બહુમતી સાથે સત્તા હાંસલ કરવામાં સફળ રહી છે. શનિવાર સવારે મતગણતરી શરૂ થયાના થોડાક જ સમયમાં જ ટ્રેન્ડ સ્પષ્ટ થઇ ગયો હતો કે ભાજપ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશમાં જંગી બહુમતી તરફ આગેકૂચ કરી રહ્યો છે. ભાજપ ૧૯૯૧ બાદ પ્રથમ વખત રાજ્યમાં પોતાના જોરે સરકાર રચશે. ૪૦૩ બેઠકો ધરાવતા દેશના સૌથી મોટા રાજ્યમાં પ્રચંડ બહુમતી સાથે વિજય આપવા બદલ ભાજપના અધ્યક્ષ અમિત શાહે ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના મતદારોનો આભાર માન્યો છે.
