Recently we celebrated the 139^th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The celebrations happened not just in India but all over the world. For the first time the Indian Central and State Government organised projects, seminars and programmes and other events to highlight the life and work of Sardar Patel.

The foreign office has confirmed that an invitation for a visit has been sent.

Grinling Gibbons Primary school, located in Deptford, SouthEast London, is surpassing more or less all private schools according to 'The Sunday Times' league tables. The inner-city institution where English is the second language of most pupils, came in at number 4, the highest ranking position for a state-funded school since the survey began in 1992.
