બહુચરાજી મંદિરની ઊંચાઈ ઘટી જતાં વિવાદ! 03/02/2015 1:30 pm Viren Vyas પ્રસિદ્ધ તીર્થધામ બહુચરાજી માતાજીનું મંદિરનો તેની ઊંચાઇને લઇને મોટો વિવાદ ઊભો થયો છે. મંદિરના વિસ્તૃતિકરણના પ્રોજેક્ટમાં નવનિર્મિત મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ પરંપરાગત ૫૬ ફૂટ બદલે ૪૯ ફૂટ હોવાનું ધ્યાને આવતા ભારે ઊહાપોહ મચ્યો છે. આ અંગે ટ્રસ્ટીમંડળની બેઠકમાં હવે મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ વધારવાનો ઠરાવ થયો છે.૧૪ ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦૦૮ના રોજ મંદિર વિસ્તૃતિકરણનો પ્રોજેક્ટ શરૂ થયો ત્યારે મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ જૂના મંદિર જેટલી એટલે કે ૫૬ ફૂટ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય લેવાયો હતો. ૧૬ ડિસેમ્બર ૨૦૧૩ના રોજ મંદિર વિસ્તૃતિકરણની કામગીરી પૂર્ણ થઈ ત્યારે મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ ૪૯ ફૂટ દેખાતા ભારે વિવાદ ઊભો થયો છે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટમાં દસ કરોડથી વધુનો ખર્ચ થયો હોવા છતાં મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ, મજબૂતી, ઘુમ્મટની કામગીરી સહિત અનેક મુદ્દે વિવાદ થયા છે. મંદિરની ઊંચાઇ ઘટવાથી મંદિરના પૂજારીઓએ વાસ્તુદોષ ગણાવતા મંદિરની મહત્તા સામે સવાલ ઊભો થયો છે.
