The General Election may be some five months away but judging by the opening salvos from David Cameron and Ed Millband the voting public is going to be subjected to relentless claims and counter claims that the other Party cannot be trusted with our country’s economy, education or the health service. They are both right of course. Both major Parties tend to govern first and foremost in the interests of their respective “masters” - big business in the case of the Conservative Party and trade unions in the case of the Labour Party. The polls suggest that it is unlikely that either of them will win an overall majority. So the chances are we are in for another period of Coalition government.
