Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, hosted a reception for prominent figures from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities at the Admiralty House here on last Wednesday evening. The event was the brain-child of Patchwork Foundation that aims to facilitate creation of an inclusive British political society by the positive integration of underrepresented, deprived and minority communities.

Wednesday 21^st January the Indian High Commissioner, Mr Ranjan Mathai presided over an event at which three Indian state education ministers and a state minorities commission member met with some community representatives in London.

The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister has already visited New Delhi and spoken to the External Affairs Minister and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who expressed his pleasure in the renewing relationships between the two countries.
