ઓક્સફર્ડ યુનિવર્સિટી દ્વારા અભૂતપૂર્વ પ્રયોગમાં હજારો GCSE વિદ્યાર્થીઓ શાળાના પરંપરાગત સમયથી એક કલાક મોડાં એટલે કે સવારે ૧૦ વાગ્યાથી અભ્યાસ શરૂ કરશે. આના પરિણામે ધોરણ ૧૦ અને ૧૧માં અભ્યાસ કરતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તેમના સ્કોરમાં કેટલો સુધારો કરી શકે છે તે ચકાસવામાં આવશે. ઈંગ્લેન્ડની ૧૦૦ શાળાના GCSE વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ચાર વર્ષના પ્રોજેક્ટમાં સાંકળવામાં આવશે.

લંડનઃ સમગ્ર ઈંગ્લેન્ડમાં ગત ૧૮ મહિના દરમિયાન ૧૬ વર્ષથી ઓછી વયના ૬,૩૦૦ બાળકો યૌનશોષણના જોખમ હેઠળ હોવાનું જણાયું છે. રોધરહામમાં ૧૬ વર્ષના ગાળામાં ૧,૪૦૦ બાળકોને અસર કરનારા યૌનશોષણ કૌભાંડના પગલે ઈંગ્લેન્ડની ૮૮ કાઉન્સિલમાંથી મળેલાં આંકડા અનુસાર છોકરીઓની બહુમતી જોખમ હેઠળ છે અને યુવા છોકરાની સંખ્યા ૫૨૩ની હતી. ૨૦૧૩માં ૩,૨૦૨ બાળકો અને ૨૦૧૪ના પૂર્વાર્ધમાં ૩,૦૦૯ બાળકોને યૌનશોષણનું જોખમ હતું.

Whenever I call a major business organization or a public sector body, I generally get the above message. I wait for a few minutes while putting the telephone on speaker phone, then I give up without speaking.

The panellists addressed recent political developments such as the UKIP surge and the disciplinary proposal of “extremist disruption orders” and discussed the best way to deal with angry ideologies in a democratic yet multicultural nation.
