વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી અને ઈઝરાયલના વડાપ્રધાન બેન્જામિન નેતન્યાહૂ વચ્ચે ગુરૂવારે ટેલિફોન પર વાતચીત થઈ હતી. બંને નેતાએ પશ્ચિમ એશિયાની વર્તમાન સ્થિતિ પર ચર્ચા કરી ભારત-ઇઝરાયલ વિશેષ વ્યૂહાત્મક સંબંધોની સમીક્ષા કરી હતી. વાતચીત દરમિયાન બંને દેશો વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રે સહયોગને મજબૂત કરવા પણ સહમત થયા હતા. બંને નેતાએ ભવિષ્યમાં નિયમિત સંપર્ક જાળવી રાખવા પર પણ ભાર મૂક્યો હતો. વાતચીત દરમિયાન પ્રાદેશિક સ્થિતિને મુદ્દે બંને નેતાએ વિચારોનું આદાન પ્રદાન કર્યું હતું. 

વારંવાર અરુણાચલ પ્રદેશના વિસ્તારોનાં નામોને બદલી રહેલા ચીનને ભારતે તેની જ ભાષામાં જવાબ આપ્યો છે. હવે ભારતે અરુણાચલ પ્રદેશના આશરે 27 સ્થળનાં નામો બદલ્યાં છે અને તેને નવાં નામો સાથે નકશામાં સ્થાન અપાયું છે.

‘ભારત છોડો’ આંદોલનની 84મી વર્ષગાંઠે વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આંદોલનના રાષ્ટ્રનાયકો અને અમર સેનાનીઓને યાદ કર્યા હતા. આંદોલનમાં ભાગ લેનારાઓનું સાહસ આપણા સૌના માટે પ્રેરણા બની રહેશે એમ જણાવતા મોદીએ એક્સ પર લખ્યું હતું કે ઐતિહાસિક ભારત છોડો આંદોલનમાં ભાગ લેનાર તમામ લોકોને આપણે યાદ કરીએ છીએ.
